I am so tired of the bs at this company. Also this companies stock is sitting very nice right now. The company is not hurting, yet the company has decided to move around 50 jobs to a tiny pacific island nation that U.S. citizens are not even permitted to travel South becuase of the muslim extremist. The customer's hate it, the other telecom companies that we deal with hate it, the field technicains hate it. The people their supposedly have experience and degrees yet can't troubleshoot a basic problem  and you can't understand them.

Outsourcing is an issue becuase it imapcts the middle class who is the biggest class in America. It impacts the purchasing power of the class and the overall economy. I wonder if this has any impact on the current economic situation? Another good job from the executives.

Genworth Financial a company I worked for before moving over here. They outsource data entry of mortgage loans. People in india have your social security numbers, income reports, and even your credit reports.

Get this they even fedex huge amounts of data on a truck across the mexico border for a department in mexico to scan the images back to America. Genworth has a scanning department in Raleigh, so why are they sending all this consumer financial data across the border for scanning?

When will these people in the government realize this is bad business?

I work for a well known telecom company...can you here me now...The branch I work for was once a company that failed and went bankrupt, primarily due to number playing. It seems as though this group from the execs down never learned their lesson. We are told to do certain actions to make the numbers look better. Now the numbers my group deals with has no direct impact to any financial numbers, but nonetheless we are playing with the numbers. The main impact of this is the customer. We are told to basically close any tkt that does not meet 1 of 3 topics...regardless if the tkt is actually ressolved. If the problem still exsist and does not meet 1 of 3 topics close the tkt. It all started when the director started to be compared to another director in NY.

This is my first blog entry, one of many more to come. I'll be using this blog to talk about the company I work for, politics and many other things I am not supposed to talk about at home.
